NGU Berggrund och ytgeologi över Norge för OneGeology-Europeprojektet

Datamängden redovisar huvuddragen av Norges berggrundsgeologi. Datamängden avgränsar berggrundsområden baserat på bergart (litologi) och ålder. Gångsvärmar, tektoniska strukturer, impaktlokaler och basaltgångar redovisas också. Berggrundsenheter har också kopplats till tektoniska enheter. Kartan består av data som härrör från ett flertal undersökningar utförda med olika detaljeringsgrad under decennier, vilket medför att kvaliten är varierande inom datamängden.

Data Quality

1G-E:percentCoverage=100; 1G-E:geometricHarmonization=yes 1G-E:thematicHarmonization=yes Data was originally compiled in a Finnish-Russian-Swedish-Norwegian co-operation project resulting in a geological map of the Fennoscandian Shield. The dataset is composed of data from several mapping campaigns, performed over decades, compiled and archived in digital format. Due to the variation of quality and scales of different mapping campaigns the level of accuracy is variable. The database is designed for presentation in the 1:1M scale.

Copy Data from NGU shall not, without special permission is granted, be reused in WMS/WFS services which the customer / user might want to set up for internal / external reuse. If the customer / user want to include copy data from NGU in their own WMS/WFS solutions, the prepared WMS/WFS services from NGU should be used directly in the solutions.Your use of any information provided by the NGU is at your own risk. NGU gives no warranty, condition or representation as to the quality, accuracy or completeness of the information or its suitability for any use or purpose.

Coupled Resource
