Podaci prikazuje glavne značajke geološke podloge Norveške. Naslage su klasificirane prema tipu stijena i starosti. Prikazane su skupine dajkova, tektonske strukture, mjesta udara meteorita i bazalti. Geološka podloga povezana je sa tektonskim jedinicama. Karat je sastavljena iz podataka dobivenih geološkim kartiranjima kroz destljeća, te je razina točnosti promjenjiva.

1G-E:percentCoverage=100; 1G-E:geometricHarmonization=yes 1G-E:thematicHarmonization=yes Data was originally compiled in a Finnish-Russian-Swedish-Norwegian co-operation project resulting in a geological map of the Fennoscandian Shield. The dataset is composed of data from several mapping campaigns, performed over decades, compiled and archived in digital format. Due to the variation of quality and scales of different mapping campaigns the level of accuracy is variable. The database is designed for presentation in the 1:1M scale.
