NGU Wgłębna i powierzchniowa budowa geologiczna Norwegii 1:1M, projekt 1G-E
Zbiór danych przedstawia główną charakterystykę podłoża geologicznego Norwegii. Zawiera informacje o rodzaju skał i ich wieku. Ponadto w zbiorze znajdują się dane dotyczące dajek, struktur tektonicznych, uderzeniowych i bazaltów. Skały podłoża przyporządkowane są do jednostek tektonicznych. Mapa została opracowana na podstawie danych zebranych podczas kartowania geologicznego prowadzonego przez kilkadziesiąt lat. W związku z tym poziom szczegółowości jest zmienny.

1G-E:percentCoverage=100; 1G-E:geometricHarmonization=yes 1G-E:thematicHarmonization=yes Data was originally compiled in a Finnish-Russian-Swedish-Norwegian co-operation project resulting in a geological map of the Fennoscandian Shield. The dataset is composed of data from several mapping campaigns, performed over decades, compiled and archived in digital format. Due to the variation of quality and scales of different mapping campaigns the level of accuracy is variable. The database is designed for presentation in the 1:1M scale.
