NGU Geologia del substrato e dei depositi superficiali della Norvegia per il progetto 1G-E
Il dataset rappresenta le principali caratteristi del substrato geologico della Norvegia. Le aree del substrato sono definite sulla base del tipo di roccia e dell'età. sono presenti informazioni su: dicchi, strutture tettoniche, strutture da impatto e basalti. Al substrato è anche associata l'informazione sulle unità tettoniche. La carta è ottenuta con la collezione di carte geologiche realizzate in varie campagne di rilevamento, nell'arco di una decade, per cui il livello di accuratezza del dato è variabile.

1G-E:percentCoverage=100; 1G-E:geometricHarmonization=yes 1G-E:thematicHarmonization=yes Data was originally compiled in a Finnish-Russian-Swedish-Norwegian co-operation project resulting in a geological map of the Fennoscandian Shield. The dataset is composed of data from several mapping campaigns, performed over decades, compiled and archived in digital format. Due to the variation of quality and scales of different mapping campaigns the level of accuracy is variable. The database is designed for presentation in the 1:1M scale.
