Geologia rocii de bază și superficială a Norvegiei pentru proiectul 1G-E
Setul de date cuprinde principalele caracteristici ale geologiei rocii de bază în Norvegia. Domenii de roca de bază sunt clasificate în funcție de tipul de rocă și de vârstă. Dyke-urile, structurile tectonice, zonele de impact, și bazalte sunt, de asemenea sunt aratate afișate. Domeniile de rocă de bază sunt de asemenea atribuite unități tectonice. Harta a fost întocmită pe baza datelor obținute pe parcursul mai multor campanii de cartografiere efectuate dealungul a zeci de ani și, prin urmare, nivelul de precizie este variabil.

1G-E:percentCoverage=100; 1G-E:geometricHarmonization=yes 1G-E:thematicHarmonization=yes Data was originally compiled in a Finnish-Russian-Swedish-Norwegian co-operation project resulting in a geological map of the Fennoscandian Shield. The dataset is composed of data from several mapping campaigns, performed over decades, compiled and archived in digital format. Due to the variation of quality and scales of different mapping campaigns the level of accuracy is variable. The database is designed for presentation in the 1:1M scale.
