Data Quality

This geotiff is derived from simulated hydraulic head reflecting the actual groundwater abstraction volumes for 2012 from the MODFLOW2000/GroundwaterVistas6 model for the study area (Rasmussen and Sonnenborg, 2015). The units were converted from m above sea level to m below terrain and then reclassified into the D index using the HOVER D7-2 Appendix A1. The pilot area takes the values between 3 and 10.
