DRASTIC parameter "T - Topography (slope)" for Pilot area Tønder (Denmark)

This is the fifth parameter for the DRASTIC groundwater vulnerability assessment (Aller et al. 1987) applied at the HOVER WP7 pilot area Tønder (Denmark).

Data Quality

This geotif is derived from Digital terrain model of Denmark at 0.4m x 0.4m resolution (Spec_DHM/T_V2.0, Danish Agency for Data Supply and Efficiency). The 1km tiles were merged and resampled from 0.4 x 0.4 m to 100 x 100 m with upscaling option “Mean Value (cell area weighted)”. The slope was calculated and reclassified to T index value using the HOVER D7-2 Appendix A1. The pilot area takes the values between 3 and 10. See HOVER D7-2 for more details and references.
