Le service WMS OGC au 1:500.000 est basé sur la digitalisation des cartes géologiques d'Italie à la même échelle publiées entre les années 70 et 80 par le Service géologique d'Italie. Les couches disponibles sont: Chronostratigraphie, lithostratigraphie et lithologie.
