Abstract:
EMODnet Seabed erosion is an index map collected within project EMODnet geology, WP3, Seabed substrate. The dataset includes index areas of available seabed erosion studies and related background information provided by project partners from European waters. Mandatory information includes identification code, country, data provider, contact info, sea area, seabed erosion type, study description, method and reference. Additional metadata includes e.g., DOI, purpose of the study, data availability and format, erosion continuity, seabed dynamics, areal extent and erosion rates information, if available. The focus is only on recent/present day erosion.
