Abstract:
REGIS står för REgionaal Geohydrologisch InformatieSysteem, som är Nedeländernas nationella hydrogeologiska modell. Version II.1 är en utvidgning och revision av den hydrogeologiska modellen version II.0 (REGIS II). REGIS är utvecklat av TNO Geological Survey of Netherlands i samarbete med RIZA (nationell vattenmyndighet) och provinserna. Den hydrogeologiska modellen är en digital modell av den holländska undergrunden ned till ett djup av ca 500 meter. Modellen visar med hjälp av ESRI rasterdata (GRID) och shapefiler djupet, mäktighet och hydrogeologiska egenskaper hos hydrogeologiska enheter, såväl som förekomsten av förkastningar. En hydrogeologisk enhet är en enhet baaserad på textur, struktur och jordart som har (mer eller mindre) homogena hydrogeologiska egenskaper, avgränsade av facieslager, erosionskanter och förkastningar. Den geologiska modellen grundas på den digitala geologiska modellen (DGM) och den ytnära litostratigrafiska nomenklaturen version 1.0 som är tillgänglig via www.dinoloket.nl.
