Abstract:
Die Abkürzung REGIS steht für Regionales Geohydrologisches InformationsSystem, welches gleichzeitig das nationale hydro-geologische Modell der Niederlande darstellt. Die Version II.1 ist eine erweiterte und überarbeitete Version des hydro-geologischen Modells II.0 (REGIS II). REGIS wurde von der TNO, dem Geologischen Dienst der Niederlande in Zusammenarbeit mit RIZA (Nationales Wasser Amt) und den Provinzen erarbeitet. Das hydro-geologische Modell ist ein Modell des oberflächennahen Untergrundes der Niederlande bis zu einer Tiefe von etwa 500 Meter. Das Modell zeigt in Form von ESRI Grids und Shapefiles die Tiefe, Mächtigkeit, und die hydraulischen Eigenschaften der hydro-geologischen Einheiten, wie auch die Verbreitung von Verwerfungen. Eine hydrogeologische Einheit wird durch ihre Struktur, Textur und die Bodenart klassifiziert und besitzt mehr oder weniger einheitliche, jedoch von Faziesgrenzen, Erosionsflächen und Verwefungen begrenzte hydrogeologische Eigenschaften. Das hydrogeologische Modell basiert auf dem Digitalen Geologischen Modell (DGM) und dem oberflächennahen lithostratigraphischen Nomenclator version 1.0 welches über www.dinoloket.nl erreichbar ist.
