Abstract:
REGIS står for REgionaal Geohydrologisch InformatieSysteem, som er nasjonal hydrogeologisk modell for Nederland. Versjon II.1 er en utvidelse og fornyelse av hydrogeologisk modell versjon II.0 (REGIS II). REGIS er utviklet av TNO Geological Survey of Nederlands i samarbeid med RIZA (nasjonalt vannkontor) og provinsene. Den hydrogeologiske modellen er en digital modell av undergrunnen til det Nederlandske fastland til et dyp av cirka 500 meter. Modellen viser gjennom ESRI rutenett og shapefiler dybde, tykkelse og hydrauliske egenskaper ved hydrogeologiske enheter så vel som plasseringen av forkastninger. En hydrogeologisk enhet er en enhet basert på tekstur, struktur og jordartstype med (mer eller mindre) enhetlig hydrogeologiske egenskaper avgrenset av facies-lag, erosjonskanter og forkastninger. Den hydrogeologiske modellen er basert på Digital geologisk modell (DGM) og den litostratigrafiske nomenklatur øvre lag versjon 1.0 som er tilgjengelig via www.dinoloket.nl.
