British Geological Survey (BGS) Geophysical Survey 1973/2: Deep Seismic: SW Approaches (02/Feb/1973 to 05/Mar/1973)
This marine multi-channel geophysical survey commissioned by the British Geological Survey (BGS), acquired and processed by Seiscom Delta Ltd took place 2nd Februdary to 5th March 1973 in the SW Approaches aboard m.v. Carible Tide. Navigation: Satnav. Sub surface data were gathered using Deltapulse sleeve exploders, 1529km were covered by 9 lines. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in an Acquisition Report.

Geophysical equipment types used included: Sleeve Exploder. Delta Exploration Company was contracted to undertake the survey on behalf of British Geological Survey. For more detailed information on the acquisition equipment and data collection techniques, operational standards, data processing methods and quality control procedures used on this survey see the Report of Survey/Cruise Report and associated documentation where available. The information available may vary depending on the age of the survey. Data are checked and loaded to the BGS Coastal and Marine data management system following BGS marine data management procedures.
