Raw experimental data from experiments measuring crystal structure and acoustic velocities of calcium silicate perovskite (NERC grant NE/P017657/1)

High-pressure multi anvil synchrotron data from ID06-LVP at the ESRF. Contains diffraction, radiography, MHz ultrasonic and calibration data from experiments performed to ~ 13 GPa on CaSiO3 perovskite and Ca[Si60Ti40]O3 perovskite samples.

Data Quality

High pressure multi anvil experiments were combined with MHz frequency pulse echo ultrasonics and monochromatic diffraction at ID06-LVP to simultaneously measure the crystallographic evolution and acoustic velocities of calcium perovskite samples at conditions up to 15 GPa and 1600 K.
