The heat flow data were downloaded from the AAPG Datapages website (http://engineering.und.edu/geology-and-geological-engineering/globe-heat-flow-database/index.cfm) using the ODV application (https://odv.awi.de/). The AAPG data were sourced from the global heat flow database of the International Heat Flow Commission in 2010.
