Data Quality

Seafloor Temperature is a dataset developed by IGME (the Spanish Geological Survey) using CTD (conductivity, temperature and depth) data. The CTD data originate from two sources. The first is WOD (the World Ocean Database https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/products/world-ocean-database). Data from WOD are downloaded with ODV (https://odv.awi.de/) on 2019-05-27T13-05-21. The second source is CDT/STD cast information from the British Oceanographic Data Centre (https://www.bodc.ac.uk/). The CTD values at the seafloor have been used in the dataset.
