NGU Geologiske farer - Stenskreds susceptibilitet i Norge

Stenskreds susceptibilitet datasættet viser potentielle kildeområder for stenskred.

The maps are composed using a computer model that recognizes the possible source areas/trigger areas of rockfall based on the slope on the mountain side and geological information. From each source area/trigger area the runout area for rockfall are calculated automatically. It's not done any field survey in preparing the maps.

No limitations. This is an exemplification of data / data service and displays 'NGU Geohazards - Rockfall susceptibility in Norway’ as a version from April 2010. The data / data service is not updated since 2010. NVE (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate) is from January 2014 responsible for the distribution and administration of the data.
