This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine geophysical and multibeam survey took place in April 2012 in the area of Ardmucknish Bay on board the RV White Ribbon. This was a follow up survey to the previous work carried out in this area in 2011 (2011/4). QICS (Quantifying and monitoring potential ecosystem impacts of geological carbon storage) was a scientific research project funded by NERC; its purpose was to improve the understanding of the sensitivities of the UK marine environment to a potential leak ...

This marine geophysical survey took place on 1st October 2014 in the area of Ardmucknish Bay on board the RV White Ribbon. The survey was carried out by the British Geological Survey (BGS). This was a follow up survey to the previous work carried out in this area (Surveys: 2011/4 and 2012/5, 2012/7) to monitor changes in the geometry of gas charged sediments. QICS (Quantifying and monitoring potential ecosystem impacts of geological carbon storage) was a scientific research project funded by NERC; its purp...

This NERC marine sampling survey took place in April 1995 in the North East Atlantic Ocean on board the RRS Charles Darwin. The purpose was to identify suitable sites on the LOIS northern mooring line for benthic process studies and carry out the first set of process measurements in the LOIS study at these sites. BGS collected three box core samples. Survey details contained in Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Cruise report 92/95.

A worldwide compilation of 645 analyses of Sm and Nd concentrations, and Nd isotopes, in fine-grained continental sedimentary rocks with a range of deposition ages. These data were used in Dhuime et al. (2017, Sedimentary Geology 357, 16-32) to calculate the variation in the Nd model age of fine-grained continental sediments as a function of their age of deposition.

Terrestrial laser scanning datasets (including GPS data for georeferencing), structure from motion datasets, and field photographs collected during the 2016 Central Italian Earthquake sequence. Data were collected from multiple localities to capture the co- and post- seismic near-fault deformation along the earthquake surface ruptures. See the scan_data.xlsx for individual details of each laser scan location, and readme.txt for a complete description. In each scan site folder you can find the unprocessed r...
